... Winter Storm Warning in effect from 9 am Thursday to midnight EST Thursday night...
The National Weather Service in Upton has issued a Winter Storm Warning... which is in effect from 9 am Thursday to midnight EST Thursday night. The Winter Storm Watch is no longer in effect.
Snow... mixed with some sleet at the onset... will begin Thursday morning and continue through the afternoon... before ending Thursday night. The heaviest snow is forecast to fall in the afternoon. At this time... total accumulations are expected to range from 5 to 7 inches across the warning area.
A Winter Storm Warning means significant amounts of snow are expected or occurring. This will make travel very hazardous or impossible.
