===========================
Bayport is covering their signal 14
===========================
sig 1 per NPFD command
He had the patch activated and i believe Ronko standying by for holtsville
Blue point one engine to standby at N patchogue
this sounds like the Frank Nursery Fire like 10 years ago in Levittown
Bayport sent 1 engine to their Hq and ended up covering a working car fire off Buckley Rd
North Patchogue 13/35 6/22
We were greeted with a heavy fire load upon arrival, interior attack was attempted due to reports of victims trapped within. Unable to attempt any search due to extremely high temperatures upon entrance into the building. Move to exterior attack due to partial collapse of the roof eventually ending up being total collapse of the roof and very unstable walls. Signal 1 was transmitted due to many mutual aid departments and the collapse hazard, and patch was applied for obvious reasons. The bussiness closed about 2 months ago but there was still some merchandise on the shelving. Fire started in the nursery area and ran the thingyloft in every direction. Due to the this the fire started auto-exposing itself all over. There were no real water supply problems we had 2 hydrants in use, but 4 tower ladders and some deckguns, needed tankers to supply the 4th tower ladder. It was a very heavy fire load and was very stubborn definitely saved the foundation on this one, but we didn't have much of a choice. Un-Official list of mutual aids were as follows:
Medford
Patchogue
Hagerman
Holtsville
Bayport
Blue Point
Yaphank
Mastic
Mastic Beach
Middle Island
Airport
Trucks were: N. Patchogue, Patchogue, Hagerman, and Holtsville. Most of the distant departments were for tankers to supply the ladder.
Hydrants were getting sucked dry, by the engines both hydrant lays were 1 4" line and 1 3" line.
I am unsure on EMS Mutual aid but I believe it was Patchogue, Medford, and South County.
2 Fireman were brought to the hospital with minor injuries
