as a officer of middle island i would like to thank all that came to play at our sig 12
Get used to it. This is only the start of brush season out here. North of Rocky Point Rd. and Whiskey Rd was were the 1995 wildfires started. The day before Eastport the RCA property burned over there. That is when we first knew we were in trouble. One truck was lost along with many pairs of undies that day. Depends on where you live over there. Before you know it you'll have GI's on your lawn. Well I hope not.
yup, best time of the year. i would have to say from a safety standpoint, brushfires are my fav. in most cases the damage to personal property is low, the action can be high. well, i used to, till we dumped our GI and got two freaking oversized SUV's
I will always remember that because we came upon it and pulled it off the side of the tracks. We should have taken it over and used it !!
Anyway there were some other departments 24'ed that were missed on your list. I know Ridge, Selden Manorville, Coram and Port Jefferson where also called. I don't remember what they sent though.
