Don,
What are they using it for? Dispatch? Operations? Fireground? Special purpose (command, fire police, haz mat)?

;DI've had them on for a week now & they are toning out, responding & using it for minor op's, I'm sure if it was a job they would go to a fireground frequency, sounds good out here in Medford, I wish all of Nassau fire came in as good, but you can't have everything...huh??...............Mike

Mike,
What would be the fireground frequency that they would switch to? My records show Syosset licensed a grand total of 10* UHF frequencies (on top of the 470.1375R dispatch/operations channel and 500.6125 data channel) - assuming that they stay on UHF for fireground and not switch to their talkgroups on the Nassau trunked system (or VHF low band - 46.100, 46.120 WPXA816). Any clarification would be greatly appreciated.
